Diana De Roo notes that it was recorded in concert at Pacific High Studios, November 1971. Exceptions are tracks 1-3, which are from Van's Rainbow Theatre show on July 24, 1973 in London.

At least two variants of this bootleg LP are known. The supposed "original" has the cover shown at top. The other variant is shown at right. See the entry for the Desert Land bootleg, in either its vinyl or CD incarnations.
